I also bought Seagate Barracuda You may have to assign a drive letter to them after plugging in in Disk Management, but other than that, no. My Windows XP is up to date and I've tried this registry edit: Do you have some experience with enclosures based ysb this chipset? It is not a concern. Your best bet would be to return the enclosure, and get one with a Prolific or AT2 chipset.
